WHAT IS IT
Rhodiola Rosea has a deeply rejuvenating effect on the skin. It stimulates metabolic processes, increases protective functions of the skin and also resists damage from external influences. By saturating the skin with vitamins, it's able to soften and smooth the skin's surface and visibly minimise signs of aging.
Rhodiola rosea also has many less common benefits, which is why it's considered an adaptogenic plant species. Upon application, it won't dilate the blood vessels, which makes it a powerful antidote to damaging, cool temperatures that would otherwise inflame small blood vessels.
Thanks to its ability to increase the metabolic rate, rhodiola rosea has been found to increase the body's temperature by several degrees, allowing it to be used to reduce the risk of hypothermia.
